American detective knocks out the 19-year-old
This is the moment a New York City police detective punches a girl in the face as she tries to stop her boyfriend from being arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
Kendo Kinsey struck 19-year-old Tamani Crum, knocking her out with just one punch, when Kinsey’s colleagues were trying to handcuff 22-year-old Elvin James in Harlem, the Telegraph reports.
The video published below shows the detectives trying to arrest the suspect, when the attack on the partner occurs.
She tried to stop the arrest of her partner who is suspected of attempted murder, and at one point the policeman lost his temper and knocked her out.
According to the New York police report, the suspect had a revolver with him at the time he was being arrested, and if the detective who hit his girlfriend had not intervened – the suspect could have pulled out the revolver and this event would have ended in death or injured.
A lawsuit is even expected to be filed against this girl, for obstructing the performance of duty and assaulting police officials. Reports DailyMail.
